Dr Saima Salman Jafri – MBBS, FCPS
Dr Saima is an Emergency Medicine consultant as well as Program Director of the Residency Program at The Indus Hospital. She has previously worked as Assistant Professor and Consultant, Department of Accident and Emergency at Liaquat National Hospital (2013-2017). She is certified in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS and is an instructor at CPSP for BLS.
Dr Saba Laila Aslam – MBBS, FCPS
Dr Saba Laila is currently working as a Consultant
Paediatrician at The Indus Hospital and is the Clinical
Paediatrics In-charge of the Emergency Department.
She is also a member of the Emergency Response Committee
at The Indus Hospital and serves as a focal
person in conducting workshops on PALS, ACLS, HBB, NRP etc, at different hospitals.
Dr Sohail Akhtar – MBBS, FRCP
Dr Akhtar is a Professor, Senior Consultant Pulmonologist and Head of the Pulmonology Department at The Indus Hospital. He is also a Visiting Pulmonologist at SIUT, with 20-years’ experience in management of immune compromised patients. His previous positions include Professor of Medicine at Ziauddin University (2006-2017), Professor of Medicine/Pulmonology, and Director Institute of Chest Diseases, Baqai University Karachi (1993-2006).
Dr Syed Farjad Sultan – MBBS, PhD, FCARCSI
Dr Farjad is an anaesthesiologist at The Indus Hospital. He has completed his Anaesthesia training from the Republic of Ireland getting his FCARCSI Degree in 2008 and CCST in 2013. He has Sub-Specialty Clinical Fellowships in Intensive Care and Ultrasound Guided Peripheral Nerve Blockade. He also has a PhD Anaesthesia and ICU in “Training and assessment in procedural skill.” He is currently working at The Indus Hospital in Karachi.
